Architect: Marwan Al-Sayed Architects
Located on a nine-acre desert site in Paradise Valley, the site has two washes and wonderful vistas to both nearby mountains and distant peaks. Walls of stacked, thick, Mexican stone are introduced rhythmically and move in and out of the living spaces, blurring boundaries. Slowly a pattern emerges, shifts and then unwinds. A serene, contemplative water feature framed in black granite soothes the senses. Interior Designer Jan Showers from Dallas, beautifully combined texture, color and numerous stunning antiques throughout the home. Art Consultant, John Runyon assisted the owners with their contemporary art collection that highlights celebrated abstract and minimalist artists from America, Korea, Scotland and Venezuela.
